There is/was also another Skyrim game. I personally own the Legendary edition , which imho is still the best and it can be modded to no end and includes the first three DLC’s. .
@everyone I can confirm that the version of Skyrim.exe file upon installation is 1.6.1179.0 indeed (as of 29.02.2024). So don’t mind the version number in the name of the distribution here above, as well as in the names of the downloaded folder and its executives inside). The game’s build is updated to the latest indeed and therefore you shouldn’t ask about updating.

I went to do a search for a particular NPC, Sidnach Salty-Eater, in the in-game console, and I realized that he is missing. I went and searched for Katja, she is also missing. If they are supposed to be added in with this latest version, they are not here. Please add them if able.

newbie here, im trying to install nolvus, but its said in the setup instruction that “At this stage IT’S REALLY IMPORTANT that all creation club files are installed
If you don’t see the Download button, close the game, go into My Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition, delete the 2 Skyrim ini files (if present) and restart the game from Steam
If it still does not work start the game and go into the Bethesda Creation Club shop and install all files manually
DON’T GO FURTHER in this guide if you don’t have your Creation Club files installed, i really mean it!!!
To do a quick check go to your Skyrim Steam installation directory, sub directory Data and check if you have creation club files like these (this is not the full list but you get the idea)
When everything is ok please take note of your Skyrim Steam installation directory, it’s REALLY IMPORTANT bacause you will have to set this path in the auto installer application as we will see further.”

Is there a way to have the original Skyrim that came out on 11.11.2011 (with its 3 add-ons) because this version from 2016 is too taxing for my hardware, and it takes too much space…
